Hello!

Let's try a homemade "Postalette Swap." Follow this tutorial for Fern Letter Fold which is a sheet of paper that can be written upon, folded and mailed.

The theme for this month is APRIL! (Everyone loves April Fool’s Day, Earth Day, National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day, National Pajama Day, and National Siblings Day.) Search through your stash and find a sheet of April vibes one-sided paper. Write a handwritten or typed personal letter to your partner.

Select three of the prompts listed below.

Seal the letter (think a sticker, wax seal, or a bit of washi tape)

WRITING PROMPTS:

  1. Local events, parades or festivals – either in your hometown or state

  2. Life update – what’s happened recently, moving house, family wedding, vacation, new pet, visited with a friend, and so on.

  3. Which of your coworkers, family or friends would pull off the best April Fools’ Day prank?

  4. What’s your favorite thing to do with the extra daylight during spring?

  5. Do you prefer rainy spring days or sunny spring days? Why?

  6. Have you ever met a celebrity? Tell me about it.

  7. Do you have any favorite April-themed stories, poems, or songs?

  8. What makes you laugh? Tell me a funny story.

  9. What's your go-to April playlist, favorite springtime songs or movie?

  10. Would you rather slide down a rainbow or dance in the rain?

  11. Do you prefer daffodils or tulips?
