VES: Scavenger Hunt #2

Let’s do this again but with a handmade twist!

Send 7 DIFFERENT authentic vintage items from the following list to your partner in a vintage (looking) envelope:

• travel-related but smaller than 4”x4”/10.16cm x 10.16cm (like a bus or museum ticket for example; not a map piece)

• a picture page or illustration from a cookbook or catalog (3x3 inches or larger)

• stamped first issue postcard

• a fiber (at least 3”/7.62cm) - ribbon, lace, etc.

• sender’s choice (as long as it’s not on your partner’s do not send list)

• partner profile-specific

• something with a language other than English or French

• something from the ‘60’s (1960-1969)

• a map or map piece - OF YOUR PARTNER’S TOWN, STATE OR COUNTRY (piece should be no smaller than 6x6 inches (15.24x15.24cm)

• a handmade envelope or fold-n-send/postalette MADE from a vintage paper item (map, ledger, brochure, etc.)

Outer envelope can be vintage or made from vintage ephemera but doesn’t have to be as long as it looks vintage. (I understand this group is for authentic ephemera only - which is what we are swapping - I just thought it’d be fun to receive an “old” envelope :) Send a note explaining your ephemera choices. Usual group rules apply; I will check profiles before assigning partners so please read swap carefully. Please DM me or comment below with questions!
