Description:

This is a swap for a single 4"x6" fabric postcard. Many guilds make these for fundraising reasons and they are a fun way to use orphan blocks and scraps.

On Wed 17th at 8am PDT, Sarah Ruiz's Postcard Workshop will go live as part of the Summer Camp schedule! It's a great introduction to making postcards so be sure to catch it. You can also buy a kit from her.

There is a template for the back of the postcard here, ready to print. Or you can use your own!

Put your postcard inside an envelope rather than simply mailing it. This will prevent it getting mangled or dirty. Check the weight and thickness to make sure you use enough stamps. Add a short note to say hello to your fellow quilter and to tell them your name!

If you are new to swap-bot there is an intro page here

Once you have signed up and joined this swap nothing will happen until you receive an email on July 19th telling you that your swap partner has been assigned. You can then log back in and click "See the partner I send to" to see their name and address.

This swap is International - meaning you can be anywhere in the world and may send your postcard anywhere in the world.

All swaps must be sent by July 26th. Once you have mailed your postcard simply come back here and click on the link to confirm you have sent it. Come back here to rate the swap (and by doing so confirming receipt) once you have received it.

We would love to see what you send and receive! Use the hashtag #quiltnlearn on Instagram or tag @quiltnlearn on Facebook.

I usually have a theme, like our granddaughter’s 6th birthday, and put together fussy, or not so fussy, scraps to make it look nice. I haven’t yet done a pattern one likes one of Sarah’s.

I'm ready to send my card, where do I find the address?

I was never assigned a partner. Or I never got the email.
