Description:

Happy Summer Reading everyone! I would feel remiss if I didn't host a bookish swap in time for the occasion, so here goes!

Send one bookish-themed postcard or notecard to your partner. Handmade is OK--as a former public library staffer I try to keep my swaps as accessible as possible and I don't want cost to be a barrier. Just be sure it is nice enough that you'd be happy to receive it yourself, i.e., something that you (or someone else) put a reasonable amount of effort into and which you would gladly sign your name to.

Include a sentence or two (or more) about something bookish. Possible topics: a book you didn't expect to like, a title you picked up as part of a summer reading challenge, a "buddy read" that you recently enjoyed with a friend, a library event or promotion that you appreciate. Don't forget your username and name of the swap.

Extras are not necessary, but if you want to add something special that you think you will make your partner smile, feel free.

As the swap organizer, I reserve the right to remove any user from the swap if there are any issues that need to be cleared up (such as recent late/missing swaps); I know that mail does get lost sometimes, so please don't take it personally but know that I'm just trying to keep the swap safe and relatively stress-free for group members--once issues are cleared you will be welcome to join future swaps.

As swap participants, you agree to send your swap on time (you will have two weeks to send--I am allowing a bit of extra time for this swap since the summer weather all over has been so extreme).

DO communicate with your partner if you have issues, either sending OR receiving, and rate in a timely manner. And please DO communicate with me (by DM) if you are unable to resolve things with your partner and/or have any questions or concerns.
