You know the type of penny... they come from a machine where you put in 51 cents to make one. Depending on where you live. You find these at tourist attractions, zoos, shopping malls, airports, museum gift shops, etc. A fun collectible that isn't expensive to get. The basics for this swap is 1 partner, 2 pennies The nitty gritty is ratings of 4.8 or better for this swap. Absolutely NO no sends and if you have a 3 rating, just message me and explain it. I cannot believe i see this! I have LOADS of these collected over the years. I also have a few that were smashed by the railroad!

Too bad mine are to sentimenal to give up, i am watching to see how this goes!

aaarg! all mine are sentimental also- souvenirs from places I've been- things I've done. now im kicking myself for not buyi multiples. then I could be tradeing the duplicates! I have an album full of these things! I love em!

thanks for that website, pennycollector.com! WOW! I always thought I was such a dork collecting these...never knew there were so many other people who collect these too! (and are wayyyyyyy more into it than I ever was) I can't wait to see what I get in the swap!

The best pennies to use are pre 1982. The zinc in the newer pennies leave silver streaks that tarnish to black and are difficult to shine.

There's also many of those pennies for sale on eBay, too. Just search elongated penny there. You'll be amazed as I was.

there are none in my city =(.... but.... I begged and pleaded and tomorrow my mom is taking me on a road trip in search of the nearest location! hooray!!!
