"I wish I hadn't read..." Postcard Swap

Have you read a book that you really wish you hadn't? Y'know, those books that you push through for some reason, and then you get to the end and feel like you just wasted hours of your life? Maybe you even regret not throwing the book into a fire when you had the chance. Or perhaps you're less dramatic than I am and you just take a breath, give it a one star rating on GoodReads, and then move on.

I think every reader has had this experience at least once, so why don't we write a postcard about it?

DETAILS:

• Choose a bookish postcard (this can be of anything as long as it is somehow related to books/reading/etc.)
• Write about one of the books you regret reading! Avoiding as many spoilers as possible, share the reasons why you disliked it so much, as well as why you chose to keep reading even when you weren't enjoying it. Oh, and share what rating you'd give it out of 5 stars.
• The postcard should be sent naked (no envelope), but if you prefer to send it in an envelope for whatever reason please message your partner to make sure it's okay with them.

REQUIREMENTS:

• This swap will be open to newbies with a well-filled-out profile (yes, I will be checking)!
• Anyone with any unresolved 1's or 3's will be banned from participating

REMINDERS:

• Write the swap name and your username somewhere!
• Rate and leave a short thank you note for your partner. Do not rate down if you dislike the postcard or disagree with their opinion, if you got a bookish postcard that meets the requirements it's a 5.
• Postal service is still delayed in many countries, so please be patient. If you've not received anything after a reasonable amount of time (3 months or so), please reach out to your partner first. If they don't respond or otherwise flake, message me and I will angel.
