Description:

It's time to create another Masterboard. However, this time we will combine our Masterboard creations, with a 4 from 1 type swap.

So, first get or make an 8.5 x 11 [or close to this size] piece or cardstock or cardboard/food packaging, and make your master board, in any art medium. Feel free to paint, rubber stamp, sew, collage, gel print, or all of the above, etc. Next, take the master board you have just created, and divide you're 8.5 x 11 page in to 4 pieces, by folding in half and then in half again, or you can use a ruler on the backside to make each individual postcard. Next, cut it in to 4 postcards on your fold or drawn on lines. If it isn't already on a sturdy background, add it to a sturdy background. Then take each individual postcard size section, and finish it off with additional elements from your stash, as an individual postcard for each of your partners. You will have 4 partners, who will each get 1 postcard made from your 4 from 1 Masterboard.

I like to take a photo of the Masterboard before I cut it up, just because it's interesting to see how 4 different postcards can be made from the same background. You can orient your postcards in either direction.

So, have fun making your masterboard postcards. You can choose from just about any mediums, on just about any topics, or even use random stuff. Which means...there are no mistakes, they all make interesting backgrounds. Of course, you can always go bigger and make a larger master board and cut it down to the same size postcards, then you will have some left over to use in your other projects. Pick your color scheme, and have fun creating these master pieces. If you are collaging, please adhere things securely. Please use a Masterboard that you have created.

Your postcards may be mailed Naked, in a clear sleeve, or in an envelope. Please include your user name/swap info so that you may be rated.

Have fun.
