HDoP Toned Paper Challenge

This is a challenge to draw or paint something on toned paper (neither white nor black) and mail it to your swap partner!

I'm sure you've seen drawings on something like Kraft paper, that use a dark tone for drawing and a lighter tone (usually white) for highlights, and the original tone of the paper as a middle tone. Create something like that!

The minimum of material to use is:

• a toned piece of paper or cardboard. Typically, people use brown or grey, but you're not limited to that: a bright color is okay, too! The size of the paper you draw on should be roughly postcard-sized (4x6'', or 10x15cm, or A6) - slightly smaller or larger by a few millimeters is okay.

• a dark color. Usually, people use something like graphite, a black pencil or black ink, but anything that's darker than your paper will do.

• a light color for highlights. Usually, people use something like opaque white, but anything that's lighter than your paper will do.

Additionally, you may use other colors - just make sure the paper tone is still visible, and not completely covered in paint.

The motif is sender's choice, just please avoid nudity, religion, politics and other controversial themes. When in doubt, it won't hurt to take a look at your partner's profile to see what they like.
