Description:

UPDATE: If you're from outside of the US/Territories, or aren't sure you have the time to create mail art, or if you just really like the idea of Hobbit Mail, please check out the "Hobbit eMail" version of this swap.

Let's celebrate Tolkien Reading Day, March 25, with some Hobbit Mail! There are other admirable creatures from Middle Earth, of course, but hobbits are uniquely memorable--

Each participant will have one partner, and will send:

πŸ‘£ a homemade or hand-decorated envelope that corresponds to hobbits or the Shire in some way. Put some time into it to make it nice; this is a type-3 swap!

πŸ‘£ Inside the envelope, include something that is related to hobbits in some way--even if it's a very small, creative way (a few possibilities: a postcard of New Zealand, a recipe for "second breakfast," a picture of Elijah Wood, Tolkien fan-art, something ROUND)

πŸ‘£ a friendly note to the recipient (don't forget to include your username/name of swap).

πŸ‘£ EDITED TO ADD: contents and envelope decoration is sender's choice, but checking profiles for dislikes is always a good idea.

Please send any Questions or Suggestions to me via DM. I will angel as needed, but please remember to be patient with our postal service and check in with your partner if you are going to be late.

Thank you and Happy Reading!
