UKCA: Altered Matchbox

Decorate one matchbox for your partner, and fill it with things such as buttons, charms, bits of ribbon or lace, beads, sequins, brads, etc.

The matchbox can be ready-made or if you are feeling adventurous you can make your own from scratch (there is a template on the swap-bot blog that you can use). The Range occasionally have plain matchboxes in stock in the craft section.

Decorate the outside of the matchbox with fancy papers, embellishments, decoupage, or whatever takes your fancy. If you wish, you can also line the inside of the matchbox drawer with matching paper.

Stuff the matchbox with bits and pieces as suggested above, and send to your partner. It's a good idea to bubble wrap it, so it doesn't get squashed in the post!

This swap is sender's choice, but check your partner's profile in case there is something they particularly don't like, want, or would find offensive.
