Description:

Hey everyone! Here's another scarf swap.

It's basicaly like the "Different Scraf" swap, but this time it's a different swap...the scarf doesn't need to be different.

Here it goes:

  • INTERNATIONAL SWAP

  • No newbies

  • Swapers with rates higher than 4.6, and with NO "no-sends"...otherwise I'll ban the swapers that do not fit these requirements.

Make one scarf and send it to your swap partner.

The scarf has to be handmade...you decide on the material to use, the technique, the size, etc...you can make a different one, if you want...it's up to you.

But please send something pretty, one you would wish to receive, OK?

You have one month to make the scarf...I think it's enough.

Remember to include a nice note...we all love to "hear" from our partners!!!

Aim for hearts, as the stars are yet to come!!!^_^

Hope you all have fun with this swap!

As I just taught myself how to knit and recently finished my first scarf, I'd love to join this swap, but I have like 3 friends' birthdays coming up and busy knitting their gifts. Or trying to knit their gifts. :) I hope you'll host a swap like this again!

If this one goes as well as my other scarf swap, I'll do so indeed!

Hey, everybody! I've been having some very disappointing surprises, and so I decided to change my swaps' requirements, as I don't want "my" swapers to be unhappy, as I am. So please check if you fit those requirements. If not, please drop from the swap, or I'll do it for you. I'm sorry, but I hope you understand my position. Sandra

I have sent this privately to Sandra but have also decided to share it with this group as I am unhappy at the way I have been treated - I am not flaming but expressing my point of view. 'I have to say Sandra that I am extremely annoyed at being banned from the two swaps - handmade heart and the scarf especially as I have spent all evening making the scarf. i looked carefully before signing up, as I have never failed to send a swap off I think this is very handed and not in the spirit of swapping - changing the criteria to me is unacceptable'

Hi Janice, and everyone! I'm sorry that I changed the swpa requirents like this, but I truly don't consider that as unacceptable. Whta is unacceptable is that you enter a swap, and then spend time, and sometimes money, to fulfill with the swap, and then spend money to send the items to your partners, and in return you don't get anything at all! Of course, as for me, I'm glad that the partners I sent stuff are happy to have received the items, but I don't think that they wouldn't be that happy if they didn't receive anything! That's the reason for the change! I don't want "my" swapers unhappy anymore, and I know I'm being too strict, but the main point of swaping is give and receive, not just give, or just receive. As for newbies...they flake too...not everyone of them...as I was one too, as everybody else...but those who delete accounts, can come back as newbies...and do it all over again...and that's the reason for not accepting newbies...they can always manage to fulfill in other swaps, and get good ratings, and only then I'll accept them in my swaps...as for the "no-sends" and the ratings below 4.6...I'll keep myself posted, and check them everyday, to see if that has changes, until the partners are assigned, and if that happens, I'll welcome them again in the swaps, if they're still interested, otherwise they'll continue as they are, banned. Hoped everyone understood my position, and as I gave this explanation, I hope everybody understands me. I don't want to become a "bad" coordinator, just a fair one! Warms regards! Sandra

Hello Sandra, them problem with email yis you press send and its gone , if it is a letter there is some time between putting it in the envelope and putting it in the mail box, perhaps if i had had some reflection time I would not of sent the email - so i am sorry if I have upset you, but even if my rating does change change I will not take part in this swap but will enjoy wearing the scarf I made at least I know I like it. Hope the rest of the swap goes well

Snaughty Girl-I hope you like it. I did something different this time. I really like embellishments and sometimes I over do it!
