Kawaii Lucky Parcel Swap

Hi there european kawaii lovers! I hope you will enjoy this swap!

  • This swap is open to all members of the Kawaii Europe group with a rating above 4.8. You must have completed at least five swaps where you sent something in the mail (e-swaps do not count).

  • You will send 1 kawaii themed lucky parcel to your partner

  • What is a lucky parcel? A lucky parcel is a little bag, tin, box or container of some other sort that contains items matching a theme. The container can be decorated or clear.

Items do not have to be individually wrapped inside the container, this is optional.

It's always nice if the container is something you can use again.

  • What do I put in it? Well, basically anything matching the theme! Paper goods, stationery, keychains, plushies, candy, craft supplies, anything that fits!

  • How many items should I put in there? It's up to you but I'd say about 5 items is pretty standard for a lucky parcel. Let's keep the value around $10 ( 8 Euro ).

  • OK, but what about the theme? Just "kawaii", that's pretty big! Indeed it is! But here's the challenge! Look at your partner's profile and make your theme more specific after that. You could make a lucky parcel with just one of your partner's favorite kawaii characters, or maybe use their favorite brands? Maybe you'll incorporate their favorite colors? Or make a Lucky parcel with only kawaii stationery? This part is up to you! But the point is to try and put items in your Lucky Parcel that your partner will enjoy, so check profiles!

  • Of course, you'll need write your kawaii likes and dislikes in your profile, in order for this to work.

  • And please have FUN! :o)

Here's some inspiration

Please ask me if anything is unclear!

Examples of containers you could use to put your goodies in: Tin, gift box, pencil case, basket, pouch, make up bag, hand bag, gift bag, tote bag, jewelry box, lunch box (bento box)... you can buy one or decorate/alter one your self.

Really looking forward to this one! I like all kawaii brands except disney or diddle also =)

Moni 02/21/2009 #

disney and diddle are no kawaii so I assume this swap is not about disney or diddle, just the real kawaii stuff

emsan 02/23/2009 #

Disney and Diddl are not considered kawaii, no.

"Kawaii" refers to Japanese pop culture and that's the style we're after! :o)
