Description:

Let's recycle our pop cans! For this swap, you will make your partner anything using a pop can. It is sender's choice of what to make. You can make a tag, card, ATC, embellishment, etc. Whatever you make is great as long as there is metal from a pop can on your project. You can use the silver side (inside of pop can) or the colored side (outside of pop can). You can die-cut images, letters or whole words if you would like, emboss it or use the pop can tab. You can color the pop can metal with alcohol markers or use acrylic paint. To adhere the metal you can use brads, red liner tape or other very sticky tape or use Crystal Accents or other metal embellishment glue. Have fun and be creative. I have included the above picture I found on Pinterest of a card using embossed metal to help give you ideas, but this is only an idea - you can make anything as long as it has metal from a pop can.

***Note: If your die is intricate it will cut out better if you use a metal plate in your sandwich to cut the die. Also be careful when cutting your pop can as it can be sharp. I use scissors to open the pop can and use protective eye wear and gloves as an extra precaution. Do your best work and send something that you would love to receive yourself.

If you have any questions, please message me on swap-bot as I don't always see questions as fast left at the bottom of a swap.

Include with your swap the swap title and your swap ID.

No 1's or 3's in the last year with no previous history of unexplained 1's or 3's. You must have at least a 4.9 rating to participate in this swap.

This swap is sender's choice, so if you are very specific about what you can and cannot receive or have a list of dislikes a mile long, this swap is not for you!

Rate your partner upon receipt of your swap. No one should have to hunt down a rating! In my opinion, non-raters are just as bad as flakers!

If you receive the swap and it meets the swap requirements, you must rate a 5 even if it is not your style or something you personally like. Hearts are available if you absolutely loved the swap and thought it was amazing! A 3 rating is for swaps that do not meet requirements or that are late. Please do not be the “Swap Police!” You don't need to investigate every detail of a swap to see if it “cleared the rules” or look at postmarks hoping to catch someone mailing a day late! If it is obvious fine, but don't be petty and go looking for minor “infractions!” A 1 rating is if you did not receive your swap. I will angel those who do not receive a swap I host after they have tried to resolve the situation with their swap partner and are unable to resolve the problem and after they have rated their partner a 1.

Please be kind and respectful – no drama! Swap-bot is supposed to be fun! :)
