Description:

As we continue to fill our journals it is always handy to have scraps to make into embellishments, punch images from or to make small pockets, envelopes and etc. I have seen these little “tablets” of scraps and thought it would be fun to create a swap to make them. So for this swap, we’ll have one partner and we will put together a little pad of scraps and offcuts. Ideally these scraps should roughly be not smaller than an index card (3” x 5”) and no larger than 4” x 6”. Have a look at your partner’s specifications for their journal and create a little pad of goodness for them to use when working on their journal. The image above will give you a good idea of what this pad should look like. There should be at least ten different pieces of scrap paper and they should be fastened together in some way so they stay together and make a handy go to pack when journaling. Remember, these are scraps and may not be perfectly cut, so don’t fuss over making a uniform pad, just something that is colour coordinated to your partners journal. We have a thread in the forum for swaps such as this and if you haven’t already added your journal specifics, please do so to give your partner a helping hand.

February is Hearts and Flowers month however these scraps do not have to have hearts and flowers but perhaps one floral sheet or a heart decoration in your binding.

I’m happy to help if there are any questions. Let’s have fun with this.
