Embellished Banner for Spring

Hello crafters!

I have been drooling over some of the stunning DIY banners found on Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube for a couple of years now and chomping at the bit to make one myself.

I’ll keep this fairly open to interpretation other than ‘Spring’. The banner doesn’t have to say Spring! It can be your partners name, or hello, or something else that you think appropriate (or no words at all!), but try to keep the overall decoration in the theme category (either florals, pastels, green/plants, adorable fuzzy woodland creatures, etc etc etc).

Go crazy with this! If you feel like making a banner pocket flip out of it, awesome! Want to make them all shakers? Right on! The sky is the limit, as long as it’s loosely associated with Spring.

I’m going to give a longer lead time on this so we have the freedom to get started while others are closing out their V Day crafting. Make sure to look at your partners profile in case they hate green or - gasp! - cute fuzzy woodland creatures, etc.

You know the drill: give a 5 if your partner sent you a pseudo-Spring themed DIY banner by the send date. Hearts are up to your interpretation but are encouraged if you fall in love with your banner. I also encourage you to impress the spring-time pollen out of your partner. Make it so awesome they’re encouraged to hang your banner year round!
