Nice necklace swap

No handmade? I make lampwork beads. Would it be considered "handmade" to utilize my beads?

No handmade sounds a bit odd. I would much prefer to have a unique handmade item (especially handmade lampwork) than a mass produced store bought item. :/

I have my own jewelry design business and I would hope that my products are nicer than a 5.00 necklace. It is odd that this swap does not allow handmade.

No handmade? Have you seen some of the stuff on Etsy? It's amazing. That stuff is all handmade..My stuff is cool too. It's handmade. Too bad... :o(

I think no handmade would be odd too. I make quality stuff! I also would much much rather have something unique. Most people who make jewelry take pride in what we make, and make quality stuff.

I've been debating about doing this swap and since we have not heard from the coordinator yet on our question about handmade it doesn't seem to be an active swap. Has anyone heard from her?

I'm sure that hand made would be fine (at least with me) as long as it was hand-made well, lol. I personally will not be sending anything handmade because, trust me, I am no good at that kind of thing! :-)
