A Cuppa With....#1 Fictional Character

A series I'd love to set in motion in this group is "A Cuppa With..." and the theme would be a different desired conversation with someone over a cup of tea, like a member of royalty, favorite author, historic figure, deceased relative, artist, etc. Partners will share where the conversation would take place, what kinds of questions or opinions they'd like to share, why they chose that figure, and so on. And of course, include some tea.

The first swap will be a conversation with a fictional literary character. Write a letter (typed or hand written) explaining who your character is, what book they are from, and why you would like to sit down to a cup of tea with them. Describe the questions you would ask, the opinions you would share, and where you would like the conversation to take place (in the character's fictional world or somewhere in ours).

These types of letters cannot be written in just a few sentences, make sure your letter has enough information for your partner to get a real understanding of the whos, whats, and whys of your desired conversation. You can use stationary, notebook paper, note or greeting cards, or computer printer paper. Typing your letter and gluing it inside a note card is also acceptable.

Check your partner's profile for their preferences of tea, do not send something they don't enjoy. If they don't have preferences listed, then you may send something you'd like them to try. Send at least one factory sealed tea bag with your letter.
