Description:

Pocket letters are my favorite! I really enjoy making them, but sometimes I need a little help with inspiration for the design. That’s why I’ve decided to start a monthly pocket letter swap, with each month devoted to a specific color combination.

Create a pocket letter based on July’s color combination of red and blue. You could use any and all shades of red and blue and can make it entirely red and blue or mostly red and blue along with other colors. Most of all, have fun creating something that will make your partner smile.

Decorate the front of each pocket and include a letter to your partner in one of the pockets. It’s fun to include some goodies in a few of the pockets, which could include things like sticky notes, cool paper clips, stickers, tea bags, candies & chocolates, buttons, patterned papers, postage stamps, sequins, lengths of ribbon & twine, washi samples, or anything else fun that will fit in the pockets. Goodies are optional; the decorations in each pocket and the overall design are most important. :)

Now the rules: Sorry, but this is not open to all newbies. Swappers must have been active on swap-bot for at least one month and have completed ~AND~ been rated for at least ten (10) swaps, including at least five (5) type 3 swaps. No recent and unresolved or unexplained 1 or 3 ratings. I will be checking for complete, well-written profiles and will remove anyone with questionable behavior. USA only.

Thanks, and have fun swapping!

Up next in August: black and white
