Description:

I haven't seen any junk journal swaps on here yet so I am going to make this one simple. You will make the cover with a 9X12 envelope. You will include a minimum 10 pages (20 sides), You can bind it with a pamphlet stitch, Cinch or Bind It All (whichever you prefer.) Decorate the pages with lots of pockets, tuck spaces, ephemera, tags, journal cards, etc-with a Christmas theme, of course. There are lots of videos on you tube showing junk journal flip throughs and tutorials. I am going to require a 5 rating to get in on this because there is a lot of work to it and I don't want anyone to get flaked on, however, if you are flaked on, I will angel.

When you say use a 9x12 envelope for the cover, does that mean the envelope is folded over so the book size will be 9x6? Or do you cut open the envelope so the book size is 9x12?

Great question! Fold the envelope in half so the book will be 9x6. Actually, my envelope books are 9X5 3/4 because I fold a 1/2 inch spine and sew my signature in. Also, mine tend to be a bit chunky so I need a little more space.

Thanks, that makes sense about the spine. I need to check and see if I have enough Christmas items to do this!
