Description:

For this swap you will list five (5) themes that you would like to receive in the comments section below. Your partner will then pick from your list and create one (1) pocket letter in one of your themes. Please try to keep your themes on the generic side, I don't want anyone needing to purchase anything for a very specific request. Let’s face it we are all here because we have lots of goodies but might be missing that one specific theme(s). For example instead of Paris, Bangkok, NYC, Germany and Japan as the 5 themes, try "travel" as one theme instead - you can always say these are your favorite spots and maybe get lucky with a partner who hoards memorabilia!!!

There must be a letter in one of the pockets. Not a one paragraph note but a nice letter. If you write a 6 page essay that is your choice and I applaud you! One nicely written/typed page is all that is required. Each pocket should be decorated to fit the theme and have some sort of goodie in it. Goodies can be themed, color coordinated or profile picked. The idea after all is to be able to display these in a binder after the goodies are removed … so pretty fronts please! Decorated backs or additional paper backing is designer’s choice.

These must be made in the 9 pocket 8 1/2" x 11" pages.

This is not profile specific but I always peek at profiles, it is up to you...I think it makes the Pocket Letter a bit more personal.

Also I have received several beautiful Pocket Letters over the last few months. But I feel bad when I get a Pocket Package! Try to keep these light and flat(ish) so that our swap budgets last thru December! The idea for this swap is to send a letter, some creative fun and a few goodies not a Christmas gift!!!

I feel safe swapping in this group, however should the unthinkable occur I will angel after all courses of action are exhausted and a one (1) rating is given. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message me.

If anyone wants to host this as an international swap you have my blessing :)

The pocket letter should still look nice once the goodies are removed. I usually tuck everything in the back and have pretty decorated fronts.

  • Any of the fandoms on my profile (Doctor Who, Firefly, Dexter, Arrow, Buffy, etc)
