Description:

This is a swap for stamp collectors. For this swap you should send 25 used stamps, from which at least 20 should be commemorative stamps. A nice cover means that you mail your letter with a commemorative postage stamp featuring a water topic. That can be the sea, a lake, a ship, a bridge across water, a ship, rain, snow ect. So you get a letter with a beautiful stamp on it and 25 used stamps for your collection.

Please don't send:

damaged stamps

duplicates

CTOs

stamps on paper

You have two weeks to send your mail, so that you have time to order the commemorative stamp.

I will check all profiles and ban people, that I feel could be problem swappers. I will angel this swap, after you rated your partner with a 1.

What a great swap! I have had a stamp collection since I was 14, and my grandfather gave me HIS collection!

Newrule (I emailed you about this also). I sent off my swap to you a couple days ago, and maybe grandson took it to the post office to mail. He did not understand what I meant, to put a "water cover stamp" on the envelope. I am SO sorry, and will mail an additional bunch of stamps, and definitely include a Water Cover! I hope you receive them both soon!

@ gramsbuttonbox I'm happy that you like this swap :) Yes, that with the special stamps can be a bit tricky. I know, that my postoffice doesn't have many commemorative stamps. So I'm ordering them online or go to the philately store. I'm planning to host more of these swaps with the topics: people, architecture, culture.... I don't mind, if someone else uses this idea. I wanted to host these swaps, so that people use other stamps than the normal ones...
