Description:

Have you ever thought about how much we use flowers as decorations, flavorings, etc.? Look around you . . . . so many beautiful pieces of art featuring flowers, fabric with floral prints, flowers on dishes . . . as a culture we love flowers!

So . . . for this swap (our third pocket letter!) we'll be creating a Pocket Letter with the theme: Flowers!

Obviously we can't send flowers through the mail! But . . . you might choose to include some of the following items:

Floral tea (jasmine? Rose? Hibiscus?)

Floral print washi tape

A pin-on flower

Some flower seeds for planting

Advice about flower gardening

A little picture of your favorite flower

Tiny flower envelopes

Flowers for ATC's and other paper creations (we are a paper group!)

Floral ATC backgrounds

Flower stickers

A little story about some flowers you received for a special occasion

A folded fat quarter with a floral print

A flower ATC for your partner to keep

An image of a flower for your partner to use

The list could go on and on . . . . try to make this one a mix of your own personal flower stories and a few little inclusions for your partner. Don't spend a lot of money!

The pocket letter sheets (baseball card pages) are available at Office Max, Walmart, and online (plus a million other places, I'm sure)

If you decide to decorate the front of the plastic pockets, don't overdo it--make certain what's inside can be seen!

Have fun with these, remember to send on time and rate your partner!

I tried to join this. There were 10 minutes left to join, but it wouldn't let me. When I pressed join it just took me nowhere and then the link disappeared. :-(

By the clock I still have an hour, but I don't even have a join button. Maybe something to do with different time zones?

Correction: Not an hour, ~10 min. It looks like the swapbot clock it 10min faster than all of mine, including my phone.
