Theme for this swap is a Painting from National gallery. You will have 2 partners. Please send one postcard with a painting from National gallery to each of your 2 partners, written and stamped. It is very important, that postcards represent the painting with girl, woman, man or people on them. It would be nice if you'd write something nice, maybe your favorite quote, about something that touches your heart, brings a smile to your face and makes you a bit happier. Swap requirements: All swappers must have full completed profile, to be active in swaps, must be rated 4.98 or higher, no recent or unexplained 1s or 3s and have at least 10 type 2 or 3 swaps. I will checked every profile, because I need to protect good swappers. This swap has a zero tolerance for non rating. If you join, you are agreeing to rate your partner, or at the next swap will no longer be allowed to participate. If your profile is not well filled out I will ban you from the swap without warning.

Ooops I meant to also ask can older, vintage to antique cards be sent in an envelope if the partner does not care?

@fawnscrafts No, I have not that PC, but it is very nice. This swap is only for postcards which you can buy in the National galleries. I also prefer people on them. And this swap is only for naked, written and stamped postcards.

Do you specifically mean The National Gallery of Art, or will any large metropolitan art gallery do? For me to go to the US National Gallery would be like you driving to Madrid. However I have several nice cards from the gallery here in my city, if those are ok.

@Eponita Here in Slovenia we have the National Gallery of Slovenia and is the main art museum in Slovenia containing the largest visual arts collection from the late medieval period to the early twentieth century. Here are the links, exactly what I thought:

Info on painting shown with swap description: (little girl holding black kitten,) Painting title: "Her Favorite Pets," oil painting by Sophie G. Anderson (1823-1903,) this painting is in a private collection, unknown if prints, postcards available as the painting is not in a gallery or art museum.

Re: National Art Gallery - USA - do online search of National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC. A book of pull out postcards was printed of popular paintings from this National Art Gallery by Abbeville Publishing Group, 1994. (I buy postcard books, with pull out postcards from Amazon.com & eBay.com)
