Can we have a USA version of this swap? I love to use glass jars and that is just too expensive for international.

Hazelette 07/27/2008 #

well, the host is from ireland... so I doubt she'll host a US version! :D

i'm sorry but i don't host usa only swaps. i think its unfair to exclude anyone that wants to join because of location. afterall, swap-bot is an international site.

they can be expensive to mail (10 euro for my last one) but i love getting things from all over the world and not just items i can get in my local store which is what happens when you restrict swaps to within a certain country, so for me the extra postage is worth it.

thank you for the suggestion though.

I'm going to have to drop this swap. Sorry Louise.

please forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, but does the jar have to be decorated? or just plain? :)

tinnuwen 08/18/2008 #

Brilliant idea! :) Does it matter whether the jar is square or round-ish or...? Look-through or not? If glass / look-through plastic, clear or colourful? Just want to get it all right. :) And I'd add to EmTabby's question - decorated or not? New or used (with used I'd mean a nicely decorated one that would be just like new of course, nothing shabby). Uh, think that was all. ;)

whoops, sorry, another question... I'm from Switzerland so we use different measures than inches. That would be 2.54cm being one inch, right? Just cause I got some different results when I googled it... :)

not yet assign?....

kerrlouise22 08/22/2008 #

just assigned partners. the jar could be decorated but its not a requirement, just make sure that it is something that you would want to recieve please.
