Description:

I recently was the recipient of a "beast" of a package of Friendship Books and Label Bags. What a surprise to open that flat rate envie and get 185 Friendship Books and 47 Label Bags.

So, I thought, why not send them on, 2 for 1. In other words, you send your partner 1, 2, or 3 items (Friendship Books or Label Bags) and they will send you twice as many back (limit 6). Also, as the swap hostess, I will send you 2, 4, or 6 items (limit 6).

Let's do the math. You send out 3 Friendship Books. Your partner will send you 6 items back (for example 3 Friendship Books and 3 Label Bags). I will also send you up to six items. So, for your sending out, say 3 items, you will receive 6 items from your partner and 6 items from me. You will receive 12 items to sign, date, make other booklets or baggies for, and move them on.

This will help me move some of my great stash, and you will get 2 pieces of Happy Mail, one from your partner and one from me. I must limit my sending to the first 20 participants (which could make me sending out as many as 120 total items).

In summary, you send 1, 2, or 3 items to your partner. Comment below how many items you sent to your partner. Your partner will send you 2, 4, or 6 items, depending on how many you sent them. I will also send you 2, 4, or 6 items.

I just thought that I would give this a try. Due to postage expense, this is a USA only swap, but you can swap books and bags made for internationals. Please keep the return to home limited to one. People are so creative and the books are so much fun to look at. Let's keep them moving.

What exactly is a friendship book, I have been hearing about them and want to do some, but can find a definitive answer :)

me too - what is a friendship book and what is a tag bag?

Hi there - A Friendship Book is a little booklet that you make for someone else, or for yourself. When first starting out swappng FBs, I had to make some for myself. I made mine with 7 little pieces of paper. I read a description in another swap, and followed it. You make a cover with "Made For" and the person's name and address, and "Made By" your name and address. Then you cut 5 other pieces of paper the same size (this can be from advertisements, book pages, colored paper, basically any lighter weight paper than the cover.) Then you finish with a back cover. Staple it, I sign and date it, then you send it on in the next swap. If both of you would send me a message by clicking on my contact name above, I would be happy to send you a couple, just to get you started, and you would be able to see what both items look like. Hope this helps.
