Description:

I love slams and I especially love FAT SLAMS! Basically a JOURNAL full of questions!!!!

What is a slam you might ask? It is a booklet that is full of questions that is sent between pen pals for you to answer! When it is full, it is sent home to the owner.

A fat slam is just a bigger version of this. I usually use composition notebooks! Think of that...a composition notebook FULL of fun questions!!!! You will not be filling out the questions yourself.

This swap will be USA only due to postage costs.

For this swap, you will have 1 partner. You will send them 1 fat slam that you made. You can make the slam for yourself or for your partner. Totally up to you!

On the front of the journal, on the cover, you will write "FOR and BY:" and add your label if you are making it for yourself.

If you are making it for someone else, you would write " FOR: and their address BY: your address"

Make sure to write LABELS on a couple pages so people can sign in

PLEASE REMEMBER: These are slams. They are meant to be passed around and sent home. They are NOT meant to be kept for one person!!!

For your slam, please use regular sized composition notebooks with 80-100 sheets.

You MUST include different kinds of questions, different kinds of slam types.

These include:

Q & A Sign If Fill In The Blank Symbol If Choose 1 Word Association Sticker Slam List

Brief description of each:

Q and A are question and answers. Basically you just ask a question. What is the weather like? Who were you closest to growing up?

Sign if is where you list something on the page and the signer signs if it pertains to them. Sign if you are wearing red...if you are bare foot...if you laughed today.

Fill in the blank is like Q and A but open ended questions. MY favorite movie is...The best day of my life was...The last time I cried was...

Symbol if is where people have a symbol next to their label. A star, heart, smiley face. On the slam pages that are symbol if...they add their symbol if it pertains to them. Barefoot &....Wearing red.....Has glasses &...if my symbol was the &.

Choose 1 is where you divide the page in 2 and put 2 choices on the page and people sign their name on which one they pick. Like a choice between...bath or shower...summer or winter...pumpkins or cinnamon?

Word Association is where the maker (you) lists a word at the top of the page and the signers add a word they associate your word with. If I had the word White...you might sign with snow, dove, clean, etc.

Sticker slams are where you list a topic or genre for each page...like a monkey...holiday...school and each signer adds a sticker to go with the theme!

List slams are where you have each signer list 3-5 things that you list...List 3 fave candies...list 3 fave sites, etc.

Remember you MUST include each of these themes in your slams!

If this goes well, I will also host rounds where we send established slams from previous rounds like this to each other to get them circulated and home!

Ratings of 4.95 or above please!

I will remove anyone who has not signed in 2 days before sign ups end. Not because it is personal. It is because I do not want people to disappear on this swap.
