Ok, just so I don't get it wrong - I grab a piece of card 4x6 and zentangle it in colour and then put a stamp on it and send it? Is there anything else a postcard should have? Should it go in an envelope?

SP, can we use coloured card, or coloured pens, or black pen with coloured pencils, or will all of the above count? :-)

Sorry for the delay in answering!! I've been away from home and in an internet-and-celphone dead-zone for the last week and a half or so!

Yes, a simple 4x6 would be great. A stamp and a nice little message from you. :)

As for the color: a little color, a lot of color-- that I leave up to each person. I personally will probably start with a black-and-white traditional style zentangle and then add little hints of color --maybe just one, maybe several (I'll decide when I get that far!). But if you prefer, you can do the entire zentangle without any black at all! or I suppose you could be a rebel and use black pen on colored cardstock. hmmmm... not what I had in mind, but I guess it fits the rule-set as written! ;)

I'd say please feel free to interpret this particular swap the way that you want to!! (so long as you're creating something you're proud to send. :) Treat this swap as a chance to experiment and to re-interpret the idea of a "zentangle" in your own personal style.

Be sure to appreciate your partner's sense of adventure and personality in the incoming cards! They might not be the zentangles you "expect" to get.. but I'm hoping that they will be postcards that you can love and that will inspire you in some new and exciting ways. :)
