Blind contour is a method of drawing where the artist draws the contour of a subject without looking at the paper.

One of the reasons I love blind contour is that it captures a pure artistic moment... an innocence similar to that you may once have experienced as a child.

In the words of Pablo Picasso:
"It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child."

DETAILS:

-- One (1) ATC that is 2.5" by 3.5" (64mm x 89mm).

-- Please ensure your ATC is sturdy or has a sturdy backing.

-- Blind contour drawing can be done in any colour and any dry/wet media format you choose (pencil, pen, marker, watercolour, acrylic paint, etc.).

-- Optional: After you have completed the blind contour drawing, you may add colour to the piece, as long as the original blind contour drawing remains the most dominant part of the illustration.

-- Optional: Add your name, title of artwork, date and/or contact info.
