Description:

I love tiny books! And I know some of you do and have wanted to host a series of Inchie sized books for so long! Here is the first one; a blizzard book filled with 6 inchies.

The link provided are instructions for how to make the book including the cover. You can make the cover different from the tutorial. Decorate the cover. The size of paper you will use is 3 1/4" x 8 7/8" to make it inchie size. Thinner papers work best for the pages because it is so tiny; double sided origami or thinner specialty papers work well.

To go with your book make 6 inchies to slide into the pages loosely so they can be taken out to enjoy. Bulky embellishments do not work well for the inchies.

Any medium welcome; hand drawn or painted, collage, rubber stamped as long as they are made with effort and love. NO sticker slapping!

To keep postage costs down I am making this US only because the book ends up being thick enough to have to send as a package.

You can see an Alice in Wonderland book I made on my Flickr.

@doublesided the next inchie book will be easier to send internationally. Thank you for being so sweet! Hope you will try the blizzard book and share on your Flickr.

Oh my goodness, I just made one in less than 20 minutes, brilliant tutorial, didn't even need bone folder etc, because you can just fold each bit in half - genius!! Thanks so much for sharing, I'll be making way more of these!

Yay! So glad you tried it! I have some of these little books I folded a long time ago. All I need to do is add a cover and inchies.
