Description:

Do you love to cook or bake? Have a family recipe handed down for ages? Dig those recipes out, and let's start swapping!

For this swap, you will send one recipe to your partner, along with a flat surprise.

Your recipe may be hand-written or typed, and can be on paper or cardstock. Try to keep it around standard recipe card size of 3x5" for ease of mailing.

If you wish to be extra creative, please do so! You can spice up your card with related images or cut-outs, rubber stamping, etc. Not a necessary requirement, but why not have a bit of fun with it?

You will also include a small flat surprise for your partner.

Could include:

  • new notecard and envelope
  • postcard
  • sticker sheet (no reward or teacher stickers)
  • ribbons
  • washi tape samples (min. 12" of 3 different designs)
  • cute post-it notes
  • tea bags (min. 3 individually wrapped)
  • etc.

Although this is sender's choice, it is always a good idea to look at your partner's profile to see their likes and dislikes, any special dietary concerns, and to try to make this even more special for them.

This is an easy and simple swap, and you should rate a 5 as long as you receive a recipe and a small surprise.

Swap Recap

  • One recipe
  • One flat surprise
  • Rate your partner a 5 once you get your swap
  • Enjoy :)

Be sure to include a little note with your swap-bot name, group/swap information, and a bit of information about the recipe (why you enjoy it, is it a traditional recipe from your country, etc).

Let's swap recipes!
