Spooky Cinema Surprise Swap (USA)

WHAT: Decorate an envelope/box in a spooky movie theme (list below) and mail it to your partner with 3 movie-inspired surprises inside. That's it!

THE DETAILS

Handcrafted or purchased envelope decorated by you. Any mailable size. Front art required/back optional. Use paper, markers, stamps, movie images, etc. (your choice). Stickers OK in moderation. Pick 1 of the following as your theme:

• HOCUS POCUS
• IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN
• THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
• SLEEPY HOLLOW
• HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL
• BEETLEJUICE

3 handcrafted or purchased surprises – inspired by your movie (can be inspired in a general sense -- they don't have to be movie-branded items). Sender’s choice, but try to honor your partner’s dislikes/don't sends (when in doubt, ask them)... and no gore for this swap. New/like-new item condition required. Swap value at least $4 before postage.

Surprise Ideas: trick-or-treat bags, stationery, potion labels, jewelry, altered tins, journal embellishments, light strings, stuffies, magic wands, pumpkins, black cats, garlands, deco tape, fabric, tags, swap cards, mini envies, etc. Have fun with it and surprise your partner...you know, in a good way!
