Description:

Time to go back in time... third time around!!

I have been picking up crayons everywhere in the house lately! I have boxes and boxes of crayons from when the kids needed them for school... new and used! (Ya know how you HAVE to buy a new box every year?!!)

Anyway... this swap is dedicated to all of those crayons laying around that we just don't use because of all of the other mediums, like watercolor, markers, acrylics, we have adopted!

Send a postcard to your partners. Design/decorate it using crayon.... THIS SWAP WILL ONLY ALLOW MELTING TECHNIQUE IF YOU PAINT WITH THE CRAYON!!! JUST FOR A CHALLENGE THIS TIME!! CLICK HERE TO SEE AN EXAMPLE (I know it's so fun to make a mess! I loved doing it!!)

Pull out some of those old crayon favorites, like crayon resist, rubbings, stencils or make your own scratch board, draw your own picture and color it it (No color pages though). And make sure you seal whatever you do!! Mod Podge is a great medium to use!

Here are some other inspirational pages...

Please stick to crayons that are used in primary grades... like Crayola, Prang, Rose Art. Crayons made from wax or soy. I have found out that there are many crayons out there which is awesome! But for this swap, please stick to the old fashioned crayons!

** This is a homemade postcard! Create your own design! **

Sender's choice in design!

Two partners, two postcards. Have fun!!
