If you've never sent washi tape before, below are some ideas on what to put it on.

  • Put clear packing tape on a piece of card stock and wrap it around several times.

  • The other day at the Dollar Store, I bought a cheapie plastic placemat and I just cut it up into postcard sizes (you can use any size basically that you want) and wrapped it around that. I didn't have to use packing tape because it's plastic.

  • Wrap wax paper around a thin piece of cardboard, then wrap the tape on the wax paper.

  • Wrap it around popsicle sticks.
  • Wrap it around something laminated.
  • Wrap it a piece of sheet protector

Basically you want something waxy, shiny, or "plastic" in nature so it won't stick permanently to it.
