RAK ~Teal, Surgery & a Birthday Teal is the color of ovarian cancer awareness on 8/22/2013 Belinda (badandknowsit2) (she knows I am sharing) was diagnosed with ovarian cancer is facing a hysterectomy and possibly chemo. Her birthday is October 3,& I am thinking we can send her a card to let her know we are thinking of her during this rough time. Each year, the first Friday in September (6th) is designated as Wear Teal Day. You are encouraged to dress in teal and educate those you see about the symptoms and risk factors of this disease.
