Description:

I'm about to start a series of postcards and go through the alphabet.

These can be store bought or handmade. For the letter "A" it can't be like "A picture". The "A" has to be the noun, like: Apple, Artwork, Adam Levine, but whatever it is it should be pretty noticeable.

For these swaps, write a little message to your partner based on their profile.

That important step accomplishes 2 things. Sure it's gets you a rated swap, but it will also show the importance of reading your partners profile and having a good one yourself.

Be sure to include your username and the swap title so you can be rated quickly, and RATE your partners. I have a zero tolerance for non-raters.

If you don't make your own postcards, where do you get them? I have been all over trying to find some. I'll probably end up making mine. I've been to drug stores, card stores, gas stations, etc. I can't find them anywhere!

I find them at second hand stores, and a few at fred meyer, walmart may have some but I try not to shop there if I can find something somewhere else. Bookstores, hobby shops...

I live in a very large city and tourist area so it's easy for me to find a large variety and they are everywhere. I go to shops, museums, tourist attractions, antique shops of smaller towns have them. As mentioned, unfortunately Walmart does too. You might also check ebay or etsy and by a lot of them. 10 or 20 would really come in handy. Try also contacting anywhere in your town (library for instance) and ask where there might be a place locally that would carry some.

Some rounds though, I know I will have to make because... can't think of X and Q postcards yet ;)

I received a totally cool QUEEN postcard that would qualify for Q but I'm not turning loose of it.
