Description:

Yes it is still summer, but the Fall and Winter holidays will be coming soon. Holiday baking and cooking, needs a new apron.

For this swap create an apron for your partner. Check their profile, if they love Halloween, then maybe make them a Halloween themed apron. Or if they love Christmas, maybe they would love a new Christmas themed apron. You get the idea.

All aprons must have a bib or a classic vintage style. Please no half aprons or a square of fabric with ties.

Please note...when you sign up for the swap if you would like a certain holiday apron or size...please post in the comment.

Have fun, but creative. Aprons are a fantastic way to style while cooking, baking or crafting.

I will angel...but don't flake please.

I'm gonna request a Thanksgiving one if that's possible. Last year in my residence, the nine of us who didn't go home spent all day cooking up a massive meal - a giant turkey, homemade cranberry sauce (with blueberries too), butternut squash soup, mashed potatoes, carrots, turnip, onions, gravy, pumpkin pie, and a cake. And all of the food we used was from the farmer's market, so it was all fresh and inexpensive. We set up tables with all the candles we had in our rooms. Any part of the table that didn't have a plate of food on it had a candle .. it's a wonder we didn't overload the tables and burn the house down.

But the point of this rant was, it was a huge bonding and learning experience and I want to make an effort to always celebrate thanksgiving. If you could find some fabric with little turkeys, or vegetables (I love vegetables) then that would be awesome. Or even pies, or autumnness. But none of the black hats/pilgrim stuff - I'm Canadian.

Size-wise, I'm tall/average height and skinny.

If it is impossible to find any fabric that would fit the idea, then halloween is just as good - no need for me to ramble on about that one too, however ;)
