Last day to signup/drop:February 24, 2013
Date items must be sent by:March 10, 2013
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

For this swap you will make one ATC for your partner. The only requirement is that the ATC has to have a piece of a book page on it somewhere, either as the background or as an element in the artwork.

ATCs must be the standard size of 2.5Ò€³ x 3.5Ò€³ and should be relatively sturdy - chipboard, cereal box cardboard, heavy cardstock, whatever.

On the back of it you should put the title of the ATC, the date, the maker, and the name of the swap. You should also include a contact mail (sometimes ATCs travel from one person to another, so at some point somebody might want to contact the artist).

Use only real book pages, copies/printouts from books, or rubber stamp images that are made to look like real book pages, no magazines cutout for this one. The words can be in any language (the ATC in the picture was made with a book page in french and one in catalan)

If you're into papercrafts/art journaling/scrapbooking, chances are that making ATC wouldn't be too complicated for you.

My advice is to search for "Artist Trading Cards" or "Artist Trading Cards tutorial" on google or youtube and you'll find tons of useful links and more detailed explanations, and see if it's something you feel like trying.
