Description:

Let's create a journal of fun goodies for our partners. Here's how it will work:

When you sign up:

  1. Make sure the text of your profile contains at least ten items/images that you like. I will contact you if your profile needs to be expanded.
  2. In the comment section below, list your favorite images for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Then:

  1. Get a composition book - the type that Wal-Mart sells for 50 cents. Tie a ribbon or something similar around the middle of the book to reinforce the stitching. Before you send it to your partner, decorate the cover to reflect your partner's interests.
  2. Study your partner's profile and list of holiday likes below and collect items to add to the journal. You will create at least 30 pages of goodies. You can add stickers, photos, clippings from magazines or brochures, napkins, card fronts, postcards, any paper items, decorated paper clips, etc. Items can be placed in pockets, attached to the pages, etc. You can be as creative as you like.
  3. Only ten of the pages may contain printouts from the internet.
  4. Please attach items to one side of the page only, so that your partner can move them elsewhere if they choose.
  5. Please date each page. It's also okay to write notes about what you're adding if you'd like.
  6. This swap should cost very little. Keep your eyes open for bits and pieces you can use. For example, if your partner like ghosts, save that decorated candy wrapper to glue into the journal you are working on.

Swap requirements:

You'll need to have a rating of 4.90 or better and a well filled-out profile so that your partners will have an idea of what you'd like. Newbies are welcome with a completed profile. No recent or unexplained 1s or 3s. No flakers. I will consider those with a lower rating with personal communication before sign-up. Please PM me if you have questions.

This one is limited to the U.S. due to postage costs.

I will angel if needed.

Halloween-almost anything except spiders! I like more cute than scary. Thanksgiving-Pilgrims, Turkeys, Parades, Indians, Dinner Tables Christmas-Nativity, Snow people, presents, candles, Christmas lights and decorations,

I am not really picky about these holidays because they are my three favorites and I will be pleased with whatever my partner picks for me!

Halloween--Just nothing gruesome or bloody! Particularly like cats, witches, bats and pumpkins. I LOVE Halloween! Like more "mystery" themed than "scary" themed.

Thanksgiving--Hmmmm. Food--cranberries, pumpkins, all kinds of fall veggies. Spices. Cornucopias. "Giving thanks" themes, like interesting churches. Currier and Ives. Recipes!

Christmas--Nativities. Non-traditional Christmas trees (beer bottle tree, book tree, etc.) "Warm" things like themed tea, coffee or cocoa (for all three holidays). Christmas lights (but not the tacky over-the-top yard decorations like the blow-ups from Wal-Mart).

Halloween: I love cute little ghosts or black cats with sweet faces. I'm more of a Casper girl, not his scary uncles. I love pumpkins, fall foilage (I love orange and yellow leaves).

Thanksgiving: cornucopias spell out Thanksgiving for me.

Christmas: Not a big fan of Christmas, but I do like holly berries and holly, cinnamon smells and home made treats like clove apples or cinnamon ornaments.

Halloween--I don't like/celebrate Halloween BUT feel free to use this as your own creative space, maybe put something favorite of yours? :D

Thanksgiving- While I love thanksgiving food x.x; I don't really want pictures of food haha ^^; I love fall type things such as leaves and thanksgiving centerpieces/crafts, "Giving Thanks" themes are great, plants and such, poetic prayers are always heartwarming x3

Christmas- Nothing with Santa or Christmas trees on it unless it's like in the woods lol. However I do like teddy bears and bows, the whole Christmas coziness like a fire-lit living room or something. I love pictures of little towns or shops during Christmas time- window shopping is my favorite thing to do that time of year. Love hot chocolate, marshmallows, and flannel x3 Tea also NO coffee. Nutcracker/ballet things - huge fan. Uhm Christmas lights, decorations, etc x3 Polar bears, stars/snow/winter skies are great also. Traditional Christmas stories like a Christmas Carol or Gift of the Magi are some of my favorites too. Cookies and milk...just anything really after all it is my favorite holiday so go crazy :D
