Description:

This is USA only, but anyone is welcome to make an international version.

Please have a rating of 4.8 or higher and absolutely no 1's or 3's in the last three months. Please send me a message before joining the swap if you are brand new to swap-bot. I will remove anyone I feel might be a flight risk before partners are assigned.

We shall swap one envelope filled with real ephemera. It should be at least a standard business envelope or larger (that's about 4 x 9 inches, minimum).

This can include (but is not limited to): pretty tags, business cards, a postcard, bookmarks, ticket stubs, used postage stamps, a small pretty craft, an odd goodie received in the mail, found items that are clean and in decent shape, pretty tissue paper from a gift, a packet of tea, old keys, odd scraps of found paper, maps, brochures, broken jewelry, a page from a book, old photos, a free sample from your favorite shop, drop cards from magazines, paper menus, pretty string that was holding something closed, fortunes from fortune cookies, paper placemats, a fake flower, notecards, tiny vials, a foreign coin...

Again, those are just ideas. If it's ephemera, you found it, and its fairly clean and in decent shape, stick it in an envelope and send it off. You can check your partner's profile and search for things you think they will like but you are not obligated to do so - this is Sender's Choice.

Items that were not 'found' are welcome, but please keep the number of those down. I love real ephemera and it's terribly fun to see found items from other areas of the country.

Finally, as a side note, I personally like things that are a little worn, vintage, and even 'trashed' but that is my preference. If you find things that have been a bit roughed up but you still think it could be 'ephemera gold', check with your partner before including it.

If you have any questions, it's better to send me a message directly as I don't check the swap page daily.

Best wishes!
