Description:
For this swap you will make one mini book for one swap partner. It should be an Artist's Book, i.e. a work of art, not a scrap book or sketch book. It should be no bigger than 3" x 3" and can be as small as you like! You can use any technique, style and colours for this - but as always it's nice to check your partner's profile before making. Include plenty of detail, no blank pages and at least 8 inside sides of paper/pages, though there is no max. number of pages. Please make a sturdy cover and remember to sign your book somewhere! Please make something you'd love to receive yourself. As with all swaps I host, I will angel if needed (hopefully not!) and I will be checking profiles

Would using mini photos instead of drawing/collage be acceptable?

I would say that is fine if you have taken the photos yourself

I'm just wanting to be clear about the number of pages, I took this to mean at least 4 pages with front and back being decorated ( for a total of 8). But when I read it to my friend, she insisted that you meant 8 separate pages with front and back decorated for a total of 16... Just want to make sure I'm on track, thx.

@JuliasAlteredArt - hi, I did mean a minimum of 8 sides (which is 4 pages, with both sides decorated). Sorry if that wasn't too clear from the description.

I think for mini books, especially really tiny ones it's often difficult to fit in more than about 4 or 6 pages

I'm still having a hard time picturing what the pages would look like...I do a lot of Deco pages with collage, so is this o.k?....Is there any sites with examples I can take a loot at? Thanks!

@Kraftylady777 - that sounds fine :) it's however you interpret it. Mine will look very different from everyone elses. A good selection of examples can be found if you do a google image search for "Artists Books" - quite a lot of good images do come up, hope that helps.
