In this new series of mini art quilts our theme will be designer fashion clothing and accessories and we are the designers!

This is your chance to design and create your own mini fashions and display them on a mini art quilt. You might want to embroider your fashion design or actually create a small scale garment and appliqué it to the mini art quilt. Maybe you are talented enough to design and paper piece a fashion garment into a quilt block. Perhaps you are a fabric-painter, whatever you design is up to you, you are the high fashion designer in this series so what you want goes!

Feel free to add embellishments and accessories and you may make your designs for men or for women or one of each. Each mini art quilt in this series will be sender’s choice and must have your designer label on the back. Fashion designs are required but run-way-models are optional.

I can’t wait to design and send my own fashion creations! I am also looking forward to receiving and displaying all four of the quilts in my mini art quilt gallery at work!

This first mini art quilt will have a Prom Dress, or some kind of formal evening wear on it.

Requirements:

1. each mini art quilt must have a designer label on the back
2. approximately 6 ½” to 15” finished mini art quilt (top, batting, backing)
