lezbe feminist music cd mixtape swap

Well, maybe I am out on a limb here. This swap will be for a self-confident group. Yahoo, please join me!

Here, to spark your ideas, is a somewhat alphabetical list of the sorts of artists I am thinking about for this swap. You can probably take a guess at how old I am by this list -- there are a thousand other women musicians that you probably know.

Ani DiFranco, Joan Armatrading, Bonnie Raitt, Concrete Blonde, Cocteau Twins, Dido, Edith Piaf, Ferron, Floetry, Garbage, Billie Holiday, Indigo Girls, Joan Jett, k d lang, Annie Lennox, Bette Midler, Melissa Etheridge, Meshell Ndegeocello, Phranc, Regina Carter, Bessie Smith, Sinead O'Connor, Two Nice Girls, Venus Envy, Cris Williamson, Yaz, Zap Mama.

Got the idea?

Please make three copies of your mix for each of three partners. Include a playlist and small profile treats in your envelope.

I can't wait to participate in this swap, myself.
