This cause is very near to my heart. For this swap I would like to show a great cause some Swapbot love! I think our great community can really make a difference. To join this swap you DO NOT have to register to become a donor. It would be great, but if you cannot for personal reasons or you just aren't eligible, or are already registered please still join! After the sign up date, (or starting now!) you will have 2 weeks to support this cause in whatever way works for you. Register to become a donor, share the link on blogs and facebook, do some homework reading about this cause and tell your friends, donate time or resources, send the link along on mailed swaps... whatever suits you. No act is too big or too small. You will send your 3 partners a message about your activities (written once and then copy/pasted is fine), and if cancer has impacted you or your family please feel free to share your stories with each other. I am making this a level 2 swap because if you do choose to become a donor, (so SO easy) Be The Match will send you a donation kit (for free), you will swab the inside of your cheeks and mail the kit back to them. Even the return postage is paid. Please do your research before signing up for a kit and make sure that if you are ever chosen that you would indeed be comfortable donating. The procedures are described in detail on the marrow.org page.

I love the Swapbot community and I am very excited about this swap! Please don't forget to rate your partners!

Jaime675 - what a great idea for a swap! My husband received a stem cell transplant 2 yrs ago and so I'm already on the registry, but I try and get people to sign up. I think this swap will inspire me to try some other activities. I would also love it if swappers post here and let us all know the kind of things they did for this swap to get the word out!

Me too!

This is an amazing idea and I'm happy to be part of the swap. I hope more people will join the swap.
