I love mud cloth. And I just found out that the patterns used on the cloth each have a meaning! The link above is to a page explaining pattern meanings, and you can google 'mud cloth patterns' to see wonderful images, and more links to meanings. So the challenge for February is to tangle a mudcloth tangle. Make your little 'mud cloth' art on a standard zentangle tile: a sturdy 3.5" X 3.5" square. I wonder if a story could be told in the tangle? If there is one, you might tell your partner about it. This is not a requirement. Have fun!!!!!! I will angel, but I hope it will not be necessary.

will the mud cloth be on the entire 3.5 x3.5 like from edge to edge

It's up to you ravenpixielove. You can make strings like usual and tangle it with mudcloth patterns, or do the whole thing, or whatever you want.
