Kawaii Mini Art Journal Swap Part 1

This is a kawaii (Japanese style cute) art journal project that is beginner friendly. To start, buy a journal, sketch book or memo book that is small (around 4x6) in size. If you have a square workspace that is fine too.

On the very last page of the journal (preferably the back inside cover) write the name of this swap, your name and your address.

Next follow the tutorial here to create the first spread of your journal.

Fill the next 4 spreads with collaging, art, found objects, notes, sketches, etc -- you should include some sort of journaling in at least one of them as well (remember your partner will be reading this). This should be very time-intensive and involve an immense amount of arts and crafts. Remember you are telling your partner who you are and what you enjoy with use of kawaii imagery and elements.

After you have completed your total of 5 spreads send the journal to your assigned partner for this swap. Rate your partner and swap coordinator then that will conclude Part 1 of this swap.

Because this swap is so time-intensive I will not be able to angel so please do not join if you might possibly flake. All swappers must have a 4.8+ rating to join.
